We back our vehicles with a Certified Manufacturer's Warranty so you can have peace of mind when you think about all the places you'll go instead of all the places it's been. As standard you will receive also receive a minimum of 3 months or 5,000 kilometers (whichever comes first) Used Vehicle Limited Warranty when you purchase a Certified Chevrolet, Buick or GMC Pre-Owned Vehicle. If your budget permits, you can also extended or upgrade to a more comprehensive CPO Protection Plan. If you ever decide to sell your vehicle, you'll be able to transfer any existing warranties to its new owner.

CERTIFIED 150+ POINT INSPECTION

With our Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles, you'll never have to worry about the condition of your hose clamps, the vacuum system, or brake pads. Before they reach our sales department, each vehicle is carefully inspected by our factory trained mechanics. This means by the time you look at them, every vehicle has passed our 150+ point inspection. To see what the 150+ point inspection includes see below:

Check the vehicle mileage against service records for accuracy.

 

ENGINE COMPARTMENT

Hood release, hinges, prop rod or gas struts provide proper operation.

Check finish (rust, corrosion).

 

ENGINE CONDITION & NOISE

Verify original equipment and displacement

Valve cover/cylinder head/exhaust manifold gaskets soundness

Condition of engine belts, automatic tensioner, hoses, wires and no squeaking belts

Condition of hose clamps, retainer clips, and wire casings

Look for areas of concentrated dirt or grime

Check for fluid leaks or valvetrain noise

ENGINE OIL LEVEL/CONDITION

Check engine oil level, verify oil clarity and viscosity.

 

ENGINE COOLANT LEVEL/CONDITION

Check radiator for leaks and damage/fan shroud is securely in place

Verify that blades of cooling fans are not broken or bent

Check coolant level, freeze protection rating

 

AIR FILTER INSPECTION

Inspect air filter/filter housing for debris (leaves, bugs).

CERTIFIED EXCHANGE PRIVELEGE

Our goal at MacMaster Chevrolet is to ensure you're completely satisfied with your Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet, Buick or GMC. If for any reason you're not, you can exchange it within the first 30 days or 2,500 kilometers, whichever comes first.

EXCHANGE POLICY

If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your Pre-Owned vehicle, you can exchange it within the first 30 days or 2,500 kilometers (whichever comes first) from the date it was purchased for any other eligible CPO vehicle. If the purchase price of the replacement vehicle is less than the vehicle being returned, you'll receive a credit for the different.

ELIGIBILITY

Unless specified, all CPO vehicles are eligible for the Exchange Privilege during the first 30 days or 2,500 kilometers of ownership. The exchanged vehicle must meet the following criteria:

  • The vehicle must currently be owned or leased by the retail purchaser/lessee of the CPO
  • The vehicle must be returned in the condition in which it was delivered to the customer, without damage or excessive wear and tear

CERTIFIED ROADISDE ASSISTANCE

It's going to be a worry-free ride, especially knowing that you're covered with a minimum of 3 months or 5,000 kilometers (whichever comes first) of 24-hour roadside assistance. At MacMaster Chevrolet you're covered if:

  • Your CPO vehicle is still within the manufacturer's New Vehicle Warranty Period.
  • Your warranty-covered non-GM vehicle doesn't have a Roadside Assistance Program. In this case we'll provide 3 months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first) of GM Roadside Assistance from your purchase date.
  • Your CPO vehicle has less than 3 months and 5,000 km of remaining Manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty. We'll provide an additional 3 months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first), of GM Roadside Assistance once your remaining Manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires

If your vehicle is disabled and you are a minimum of 250 km from home, a trip interruption reimbursement allowance will be provided to help for for:

  • Reasonable expenses up to a maximum of $195 per day and/or
  • Alternate transportation up to a combined maximum of $500 per incident.
